40:37-95.9. Office; expenditures; limitation; appropriation of moneys from revenue producing facilities

The board of chosen freeholders shall provide the commission with a suitable office and upon the establishment of the commission may make available for expenditures by the commission such sums as the board of chosen freeholders may by a majority vote approve. Except as provided in section 10 of this act, the amount so made available in any calendar year for the expenses of the commission shall not be greater than the excess, if any, of a sum equal to 1 mill on each dollar of the aggregate true or full value of all property in the several taxing districts of the county, as determined by the county board of taxation, over the amount to be paid by the county in such year for debt service on bonds or other obligations for park purposes issued by the county pursuant to said section 10.
The board of chosen freeholders shall also have power to appropriate to the use of the commission, in addition to the sums appropriated for expenses as aforesaid, such moneys as may arise from revenue-producing facilities operated by the commission.
