4:12A-33. Application for license, time for making; contents; display of license

An application for a license to operate as a milk dealer or store shall be made before any person shall commence business as a milk dealer or store, and annually thereafter. Every person holding a license on the effective date of this act shall upon expiration of the license apply for renewal, but in order to spread the renewal dates throughout the year the director may issue licenses for a period of not less than three months nor more than 15 months and for stores the fee for the period shall be proportionately less or greater than the annual rates herein established.
Subsequent licenses shall be issued for a period of one year. The applicant shall state the nature of the business to be conducted, the full name of the person applying for the license and, if the applicant be a firm or association, the full name of each member, and if a corporation the names and addresses of all officers and directors and the name or names of the municipality or municipalities in which the business is to be conducted; that he has complied with all the orders, rules and regulations of the predecessor board and the director, and such other facts with respect to the license as may be required by the said director.
A license shall be granted to the applicant by the director subject to the provisions of this act. The original or a certified copy thereof shall be conspicuously displayed by the licensee at its principal place of business, and in each plant, store or sales branch delivery depot in this State.
