4:12-41.3. Permit to buy on butter fat basis

Every person receiving or buying milk or cream on the basis of the butter fat content therein shall be required to hold a permit to purchase the same. Application for such permit shall be made to the director on a form prescribed and furnished by him; such application to be accompanied by a fee of five dollars ($5.00). Upon approval of the application the director shall issue to the applicant, a permit which shall expire one year from the date of its issuance; provided, however, that it may be revoked at any time by the director if the provisions of this act are violated.
The requirements of this section shall not apply to individuals, hotels, restaurants and boarding houses buying milk or cream for their own use.
