32:2-23.14. Acquisition or use of property owned by City or State of New York

Anything in this act to the contrary notwithstanding, no property now or hereafter vested in or held by the City of New York shall be taken by the Port Authority without the authority or consent of the city as provided in said compact of April 30, 1921. The Port Authority is also hereby authorized and empowered to acquire from said city by agreement therewith, and the city, notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, is hereby authorized and empowered to grant and convey upon reasonable terms and conditions any real property which the Port Authority shall find to be necessary for Narrows Bridge purposes, including such real property as has already been devoted to a public use.
The State of New York hereby consents to the use and occupation of the real property of such State which the Port Authority shall find to be necessary for Narrows Bridge purposes, including lands of the State lying under water, and the department, board or division or other agency of the State exercising supervision of such property shall execute such documents as it may deem necessary to evidence the right to such use and occupation.
