32:10-5. Penalties; disposition

A person guilty of disorderly conduct or breach of the peace on any such bridge or its approaches, or the property under the control of the joint commission, or violating any of the rules or regulations adopted by the joint commission shall, upon conviction thereof for a first offense, be liable to a fine of not less than ten nor more than twenty-five dollars, together with costs, and in default of the payment thereof, to imprisonment in the county jail of the county of this state where the bridge approach is located.
Upon conviction of a second or subsequent offense the offender shall be liable to a fine of not less than twenty-five nor more than fifty dollars, together with costs, and in default of the payment thereof, to imprisonment as above provided for not less than thirty nor more than sixty days. The fines when recovered shall be paid into the state treasury.
