The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is authorized to construct, maintain, repair and operate a project addition to the New Jersey Turnpike consisting of a highway at the following location or such part or parts thereof as the New Jersey Turnpike Authority may determine to be suitable for a project as contemplated by this act: Beginning at or near present interchange 15 of the New Jersey Turnpike situate in the city of Newark, county of Essex, and thence in a general northeasterly direction through Hudson and Bergen counties west of the Hackensack river and through the Hackensack meadows west of the Hackensack river and, after crossing the Hackensack river, to the general vicinity of the existing turnpike at U.S.
Highway No. 46 in the village of Ridgefield Park, county of Bergen.
