27:19-39. Dissolution of commission; assumption of duties

Any commission provided for in this article may be dissolved by the governing body of the county or counties creating it at any time after the construction, purchase and equipment of the complete bridge or bridges within its care have been completed and all the costs thereof and all bonds, notes or other evidences of indebtedness, together with interest thereon and all costs and expenses in connection with any actions or proceedings by or on behalf of the holders thereof, have been paid.
Thereupon the governing body of the county or counties shall assume the further duties in connection with such bridges, including the operation, maintenance and repair thereof, and upon any such dissolution, title to all real estate or any other property or structures of such commission shall thereafter be vested in the county or counties creating the commission.
