27:16-3. Acquisition of roads; hearing and notice

After the resolution and map or maps shall have been filed with the county clerk, the board shall give public notice in two or more newspapers printed and circulating in the county, one of which shall be in a newspaper circulating in the municipality or municipalities where the proposed road is to be located, of the filing of the resolution and map or maps for public inspection. The notice shall state the time and place, when and where, the board will meet to consider the proposed improvement.
The notice shall be printed at least ten days prior to the time fixed for the meeting. At the time and place designated in the notice, the board shall meet for the purpose of hearing and considering any objection to the proposed improvement which may be presented by any person interested therein.
