27:13A-4. Application for designation

The board of chosen freeholders of any county or the governing body of any municipality may apply to the commissioner for the designation of any road within the jurisdiction of said county or municipality as a State aid road. Every such application shall be made in such form as the commissioner shall prescribe, and shall include
(a)a description of the road and a statement of how the interests of the State and of the applying county or municipality would be served by the inclusion of such road in the State aid road system;
(b)a statement of all work proposed to be done on such road and the beginning and ending points of such work;
(c)an estimate of the cost of such work and the amount which the county or municipality will be able to contribute thereto; and
(d)such other information as the commissioner may require.
