19:44A-4. Application of act

The provisions of this act shall apply:
a. (Deleted by amendment; P.L.1981, c. 151.)
b. (Deleted by amendment; P.L. [1983], c. [579].)
c. In any election at which a public question is to be voted upon by the voters of the State or any political subdivision thereof;
d. In any election for any public office of the State or any political subdivision thereof; provided, however, that this act shall not, except for paragraph
(2)of subsection a. of section 8 of the act (C. 19:44A-8), apply to elections for party office.
