18A:3B-31. Interim, comprehensive reports to Governor, Legislature

31. a. The council and commission established under this act shall submit an interim report to the Governor and Legislature on or before July 1, 1996 with an assessment of the restructuring of higher education embodied in this act and recommendations concerning the modification of this structure.
b. On or before July 1, 1999, the council and the commission shall submit a comprehensive report to the Governor and the Legislature, including, for each public institution of higher education: a profile of the student body including graduation rates, SAT or other test scores, the percentage of New Jersey residents in the student body, the number of scholarship students and the number of Education Opportunity Fund students in attendance; a profile of the faculty including the ratio of full to part-time faculty members, and major research and public service activities; a profile of the trustees or governors as applicable; and, a profile of each institution, including degree and certificate programs, status of accreditation, major capital projects and any other information which the commission and the council deem appropriate.
The report shall include an assessment of the restructuring of higher education and may include recommendations as to the modification or alteration of this structure.
