L.1880, c. 163, p. 240 (C.S. pp. 3256 to 3260, s.s. 53 to 64), entitled "An act for incorporation of companies for draining and improving meadows and lands overflowed by tide water," approved March eleventh, one thousand eight hundred and eighty, saved from repeal, together with the supplements thereto, approved March eighteenth, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one (L.1881, c. 120, p. 136; C.S. p. 3260, s. 65). [This act, as so supplemented, provides for the organization and conduct of companies by the owners of tide marshes and swamps, not exceeding two hundred acres in area, for the purpose of improving and protecting the same.
It provides for and regulates the carrying out and financing of the various projects and undertakings of such companies.]
