Adoption of title; question placed on ballot; public notice. If the petition is sufficient, the clerk shall, 15 days thereafter, give public notice that the question will be submitted to the voters at the next general or municipal election. Public notice includes, but is not limited to, publication in the political subdivision's official newspaper once a week for at least four weeks and posting the notice in five of the most public places in the political subdivision for at least four weeks before the election. The clerk shall also cause the question to be printed upon the ballots to be used at the election.
