The county of Grafton is bounded thus: Beginning on the west bank of Connecticut river at the southwesterly corner of Dalton; thence on the westerly and southwesterly lines of Dalton, Whitefield, Carroll, Nash and Sawyer's Location, Crawford's Grant, Hart's Location and Bartlett to the line of the county of Carroll at the northwesterly corner of Albany; thence by the westerly line of the county of Carroll to the northerly line of the county of Belknap; thence by the northerly and westerly lines of the county of Belknap to the county of Merrimack; thence by the northerly line of the county of Merrimack to the county of Sullivan; thence by the northerly line of the county of Sullivan to the southwest corner of Lebanon on the west bank of the Connecticut river; thence northerly on said bank to the bound first mentioned.
