§ 97-26.1. Fees for medical records and reports; expert witnesses; communications with health care providers.
The Commission may establish maximum fees for the following when related to a claim under this Article:
(i)the searching, handling, copying, and mailing of medical records,
(ii)the preparation of medical reports and narratives,
(iii)the presentation of expert testimony in a Commission proceeding, and
(iv)the time spent communicating with the employer or employee pursuant to G.S. 97-25.6(i). (1993 (Reg. Sess., 1994), c. 679, s. 5.6; 2012-135, s. 4.)
