§ 143B-84. North Carolina Awards Committee - members; selection; quorum; compensation.
The North Carolina Awards Committee shall consist of five members appointed by the Governor to serve at the Governor's pleasure.
The Governor shall designate a member of the Committee as chair to serve at the pleasure of the Governor.
Members of the Committee shall serve without compensation or travel or per diem.
A majority of the Committee constitutes a quorum for the transaction of business.
All clerical and other services required by the Committee shall be supplied by the Secretary of Natural and Cultural Resources. (1973, c. 476, s. 72; 2015-241, s. 14.30(t); 2025-25, s. 19(i).)
