§ 143-345.8. North Carolina Purchase Directory.
The Division of Purchase and Contract of the Department of Administration shall electronically advertise information on contract and purchase requirements from the Division of Purchase and Contract, the Office of State Construction, the Department of Transportation, and other agencies of State government which make direct purchases from private suppliers. The Division shall coordinate with the other departments of State government to ensure that the electronic advertisement is meeting the goals of disseminating as widely as possible and in a timely manner information on those State contracts which are open for bids.
A printed copy of any information that is electronically advertised shall be made available to any party upon request. The Secretary of the Department of Administration may adopt rules governing the routine and procedures to be followed in advertising information on contract and purchase opportunities, what contracts and purchases will be advertised, and under what conditions exceptions to the electronic advertisement may occur.
