§ 105-449.51. Violations declared to be misdemeanors.
A person who operates or causes to be operated on a highway in this State a qualified motor vehicle that does not carry a license as required by this Article, does not properly display a decal as required by this Article, or is not licensed in accordance with this Article commits a Class 3 misdemeanor and is punishable by a fine of two hundred dollars ($200.00).
