90-1-609 . (Temporary) Montana broadband infrastructure accounts.
(a)There is a federal special Montana broadband infrastructure account.
(b)All money in the account is allocated to the department of administration to be used solely for the purposes of this part. Interest earned on funds in the account must be deposited in the account.
(c)The governor may accept and shall deposit into the account federal broadband stimulus funds or other federal funds or other federal funds appropriated by congress and allocated to the department of administration for funding of broadband communications projects.
(d)Notwithstanding any other provision of law, funds allocated under this section may not be transferred or expended for any purpose other than to provide funding for projects authorized pursuant to this part.
