80-2-102 . Agreements with United States secretary of agriculture authorized.
(1)The department shall enter into agreements with the secretary of agriculture of the United States under section 2(f) of Public Law 499, 81st congress, upon terms and conditions and for periods of time as are mutually agreeable, authorizing the secretary of agriculture to accept, administer, spend, and use in the state all or any part of the trust assets or any other funds of the state which may be appropriated for carrying out the purposes of Titles I and II of the Bankhead-Jones Farm Tenant Act, in accordance with the applicable provisions of Title IV thereof, as amended, and do all things necessary to carry out the agreements.
(2)The program must be administered with funds appropriated for such purposes and any request for an increase of spending authority for administering the program requires a budget amendment and is subject to Title 17, chapter 7, part 4.
