7-3-148 . Publication of summary and comparison.
(1)A summary of the recommendations contained in a petition proposing alteration of an existing form of local government must be published at least twice in a newspaper of general circulation in the local government. Whenever an election on the recommendations is to be held, publication must be made during the 2 weeks preceding the election.
(2)The summary must contain a description of the recommendations, a comparison of the existing and proposed forms of government, and a list of locations where the full proposal may be seen or obtained.
(3)The cost of publication required by this section shall be borne by the affected local government.
