69-3-1604 . Commission rulemaking.
(1)The commission shall adopt rules that guide the Montana energy impact assistance bond and financing order processes in accordance with this part.
(2)The rules must establish:
(a)guidelines that are consistent with the objectives in 69-3-1602 for:
(i)meeting Montana's electricity supply resource needs; and
(ii)managing the portfolio of electricity supply resources.
(b)minimum filing requirements for applications filed pursuant to this part; and
(c)penalties for failure to comply with 69-3-1616 .
(3)The commission may adopt any other rules necessary to:
(a)govern its proceedings and procedures for the filing, investigation, and hearing of applications submitted in accordance with this part; and
(b)implement the provisions of this part.
