37-42-301 . Department to certify operators.
(1)The department shall certify persons as to their qualifications to supervise successfully the operation of such water and wastewater treatment plants and water distribution systems.
(2)In granting the certificates, the department shall give due regard to the interest of this state in protecting the drinking water supplies and the quality of its water.
