35-21-834 . Co-owners -- mausoleum-columbarium authority liability.
(1)When there are several owners of a plot or of rights of interment in the plot, the owners may designate one or more persons to represent the plot and file written notice of the designation with the mausoleum-columbarium authority.
(2)In the absence of a notice provided for in subsection
(1)or a written objection to an interment, the mausoleum-columbarium authority is not liable to any owner for interring or permitting an interment in the plot upon the request or direction of any co-owner of the plot.
