27-19-203 . Preliminary injunction pending action by public service commission. When the public service commission is conducting an adjudicatory proceeding or formal investigation relating to continuation or interruption of service upon the motion of the consumer counsel or the interested person or the interested person's legal representative, a district court may, upon the application of the consumer counsel or the interested person or the interested person's legal representative, enter a restraining order against any person respondent in the adjudicatory proceeding or investigation.
The restraining order may prohibit the respondent and the respondent's agents, employees, licensees, and assignees from acting in the manner complained of in the proceeding before the commission until the commission has rendered its decision in the matter. The restraining order may include an order to show cause why the order should not become an injunction for the duration of the proceeding before the commission.
