The building known as the Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce Bureau of Plant Industry Building on the campus of Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi, shall be designated and henceforth be known as the “Robert Horne McCarty Building.”
The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce is hereby authorized to erect a suitable memorial marker at a site on the premises of the current Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce Bureau of Plant Industry Building to be chosen with the approval of the family of Robert Horne McCarty.
