9.285. Diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma awareness day designated for September 9. — September ninth of each year is hereby designated and shall be known as "Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma Awareness Day" in honor of Adleigh, a young Missourian who lost her battle with this terminal form of childhood cancer. Citizens of this state are encouraged to recognize this day with appropriate events and activities to raise awareness and educate others about this disease.
