40.430. Military justice — certain sections explained to enlisted members, when — complete text to be available on request. — Subsection 2 of section 40.005 , sections 40.007 , 40.020 to 40.040 , 40.043 , 40.090 , 40.098 , 40.126 , 40.175 , 40.234 to 40.415 and 40.430 to 40.440 , as well as those required sections of the United States code of military justice, shall be carefully explained to every enlisted member at the time of the member's enlistment or transfer or induction into the state military forces or within thirty days thereafter.
They shall also be explained to each unit of the state military forces as the adjutant general may direct. A complete text of sections 40.005 to 40.490 and of the regulations prescribed by the governor thereunder shall be made available to any member of the state military forces, upon the member's request, for his personal examination.
