376.600. Penalty for violating section 376.590. — Any life insurance company which may violate any of the provisions of section 376.590 , or which may permit any of its agents or representatives in this state to violate said provisions, shall have its certificate of authority or license to transact business in Missouri revoked by the state director of the department of commerce and insurance, and shall be for a period of five years barred from the further transaction of business in this state; and any agent, solicitor or representative in this state of any such insurance company who shall violate any of the provisions of said section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, on conviction thereof, in any court of competent jurisdiction in this state, shall be fined not less than fifty nor more than five hundred dollars for each such offense or imprisoned in the county or city jail for not less than ten days nor more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
