376.1020. Plan to maintain principal place of business in Missouri, exception. — Each multiple employer self-insured health plan shall have and maintain its principal place of business in this state or shall appoint the director of the department of commerce and insurance as its agent for service of process, and shall thereby make available to the department complete records of its assets, transactions, and affairs with such methods and systems as are customary for, or suitable to, the kind or kinds of business transacted.
The director or his representative shall inspect these records at least every three years. The information from these records shall be furnished to the director or his representatives on demand and the original books or records shall be open to examination by the director or his representatives when demanded. Examinations shall be conducted pursuant to sections 374.160 , 374.162 , 374.190 , 374.202 to 374.207 and 374.220 .
