36.070. Rules and regulations, authorized, procedure. — 1. The commissioner of administration shall have power to prescribe such rules and regulations not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter as he or she deems suitable and necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter. Such rules and regulations shall be effective when filed with the secretary of state as provided by law.
2. The commissioner of administration shall prescribe by rule the procedures for merit selection, uniform classification and pay, and covered appeals in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
3. As of August 28, 2023, the rules of the personnel advisory board previously established by this chapter shall become rules of the commissioner of administration.
