278.300. State soil and water districts commission to control watershed district formerly under a disestablished soil and water conservation district. — If a soil and water conservation district is disestablished pursuant to section 278.150 , the state soil and water districts commission shall have the same responsibilities as the soil and water conservation district with respect to formation, consolidation and disestablishment of any watershed district or portion thereof, organized within the boundaries of such soil and water conservation districts.
In all other matters after a district is disestablished, the commission shall act in an advisory capacity to the watershed district board in lieu of the soil and water district board.
