Regional commission may employ executive secretary, employees, consultants. — The regional planning commission may appoint to serve at its * pleasure and may compensate an executive secretary and such employees as it deems necessary for its work and may hire such experts and consultants for part-time or full-time service as may be necessary for the performance of its responsibilities.
