245.115. Organization of board of commissioners. — Said circuit clerk upon the filing of said order of appointment shall notify each of said commissioners of his appointment by written or printed notice, and in the same notice he shall state the time and place for the first meeting of said commissioners. The secretary of the board of supervisors or his deputy shall attend such meeting, and shall furnish to said commissioners a complete list of lands, all corporate and other property described in the articles of association or adjacent thereto that will be affected by carrying out and putting into force the plan for reclamation, and the names of the owners of such property, as were contained in the articles of association, at the date of the final decree of the court incorporating the district.
Said secretary shall also furnish said commissioners a copy of the plan for reclamation, with maps and profiles in his office. The commissioners at said meeting, or within ten days thereafter, shall each take and subscribe to an oath that they will faithfully and impartially discharge their duties as such commissioners and make a true report of the work done by them. The said commissioners shall also at said meeting elect one of their own number chairman, and the secretary of the board of supervisors, or his deputy, shall be ex officio secretary of said board of commissioners during their continuance in office.
