192.2025. Budget allotment tables provided to each area agency on aging, when — area plan submitted, when — on-site monitoring by department. — 1. The department shall provide budget allotment tables to each area agency on aging by January first of each year. Each area agency on aging shall submit its area plan, area budget and service contracts to the department by March first of each year. Each April, the area agencies on aging shall present their plans to the department in a public hearing scheduled by the department and held in the area served by the area agency on aging.
Within thirty days of such hearing, the department shall report findings and recommendations to the board of directors for the area agency on aging, the area agency on aging advisory council, the members of the senate budget committee and the members of the house appropriations committee assigned the department of health and senior services.
2. Each area agency on aging shall include in its area plan performance measures and outcomes to be achieved for each year covered by the plan. Such measures and outcomes shall also be presented to the department during the public hearing.
3. The department shall conduct on-site monitoring of each area agency on aging at least once a year. The department shall send all monitoring reports to the area agency on aging advisory council and the board of directors for the area agency which is the subject of the reports.
