164.111. Levy and collection of tax — library building fund. — If two-thirds of the voters voting on the proposal vote in favor of the additional tax the result of the vote and the rate of taxation so voted and the period of years for which voted shall be certified by the secretary of the board to the clerk of the county commission of the proper county who shall thereupon assess the amount at the rate returned on all tangible taxable property of the school district and the taxes shall be collected and paid over to the treasurer of the school district in like manner and with other general property taxes of the school district.
The treasurer of the school district shall place the revenue derived from the tax in a separate fund to be known as the "Library Building Fund", which shall be subject to the exclusive control of the school board and shall be used for no purpose other than as stated in sections 164.081 to 164.111 . The tax is in addition to the annual tax authorized to be levied under the provisions of section 137.030 .
