115.589. Records to be corrected to reflect judgment. — Each court or legislative body authorized to determine contested elections shall hear and determine each contest at the earliest opportunity after the official announcement of the results of the election has been made. Upon completion of the procedures provided for in this subchapter, the court or legislative body shall render its judgment based upon the issues of law and fact and cause a certified copy of its judgment to be transmitted to each affected election authority and to the secretary of state.
Each election authority to which a copy of the judgment is sent and the secretary of state shall correct their records to conform to the judgment.
