168A.13 FEE ACCOMPANIES APPLICATION; DELIVERY OF REGISTRATION CARD AND PLATES.
§
Subdivision 1. Fee accompanies application for certificate.
An application for a certificate of title must be accompanied by the required fees when mailed or delivered to the department.
§
Subd. 2. Fee accompanies application for naming secured party.
An application for the naming of a secured party or the party's assignee on a certificate of title must be accompanied by the required fees when mailed or delivered to the department.
§
Subd. 3. Delivery of registration card and plates.
A transferor of a vehicle, other than a dealer transferring a new vehicle, shall deliver to the transferee at the time of the delivery of possession of the vehicle the registration card and license plates for the vehicle.
