145D.36 COMMISSIONER OF HEALTH; REPORTS AND ANALYSIS.
Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the commissioner of health may use data or information submitted under sections 60A.135 to 60A.137 , 60A.17 , 60D.18 , 60D.20 , 62D.221 , and 145D.32 to conduct analyses of the aggregate impact of transactions within nonprofit health coverage entities and organizations which include nonprofit health coverage entities or their affiliates on access to or the cost of health care services, health care market consolidation, and health care quality.
The commissioner of health must issue periodic public reports on the number and types of conversion transactions subject to sections 145D.30 to 145D.35 and on the aggregate impact of conversion transactions on health care costs, quality, and competition in Minnesota.
