145.135 UNIFORM DETERMINATION OF DEATH ACT.
§
Subdivision 1. Citation.
This section may be cited as the "Uniform Determination of Death Act."
§
Subd. 2. Determination of death.
An individual is dead if the individual sustains irreversible cessation of:
(1)circulatory and respiratory functions; or
(2)all functions of the entire brain, including the brain stem.
A determination of death must be made in accordance with generally accepted medical standards.
