110A.22 APPROVAL OF EXTENSION.
(a)Upon receipt of the petition the court shall act upon the petition in the same manner as required upon an original petition to create a district, as set forth in sections 110A.12 to 110A.17 .
(b)Upon the approval of the petition, and project and the issuance and filing of the certificate of approval in the Office of the Secretary of State and filing a copy in the office of the county auditor of each county in which any lands in which the district is located, the included areas shall be part of the district.
