552.624 Offset proceedings against delinquent payer's tax refunds.
Sec. 24.
For a friend of the court case, if the case has not been designated for offset proceedings by the office of child support and a support arrearage has accrued that meets the requirements established by state or federal law, regulation, or rule, as applicable, the office of the friend of the court may request the office of child support to initiate offset proceedings against the delinquent payer's state tax refunds and federal income tax refunds as provided in section 3a of the office of child support act, 1971 PA 174, MCL 400.233a.
