460.5 Public service commission; books, records, files.
Sec. 5.
All books, records, files, papers, documents, and other property belonging to the Michigan public utilities commission shall be forthwith turned over to the Michigan public service commission and shall be continued as a part of the records, files, and other property of said commission. The Michigan public service commission shall in all respects be considered to be the successor in office of the Michigan public utilities commission in respect to all of the powers or duties now vested in or imposed upon said public utilities commission.
Any unexpended balance of moneys in the state treasury and any fees or other moneys now owing to said public utilities commission shall be and the same are hereby transferred and assigned over to the Michigan public service commission hereby created, to be used and disposed of as provided by law.
