455.91 Articles of incorporation; amendment.
Sec. 1.
That any corporation organized under Act No. 39 of the Public Acts of 1889 of this state, entitled "An act to authorize the formation of corporations for the purchase and improvement of grounds to be occupied for summer homes, for camp meetings, for meetings of assemblies or associations and societies organized for intellectual and scientific culture and for the promotion of the cause of religion and morality, or for any or all such purposes," may alter and amend its articles of incorporation or association at any annual meeting of the members of the association, by a resolution adopted by a 2/3 vote of all members present and voting thereon, and such amendment shall be certified by the president and secretary under the seal of the corporation and recorded in the same manner as the original articles of incorporation:
Provided always, That no such amendment shall change the general purpose for which such corporation was formed.
