395.302 Commission on handicapper concerns; members, appointment, terms, vacancies, officers, expenses.
Sec. 2.
The governor shall appoint by and with the advice and consent of the senate the 21 members of the commission for terms of 3 years, except that of the members first appointed, 7 each shall be appointed for terms of 1, 2 and 3 years. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointments and for the balance of the unexpired term. The governor shall designate a chairman and a vice-chairman from the members of the commission. The chairman shall be the chief executive officer of the commission. Members of the commission shall be reimbursed only for their actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties.
