388.1763a Enrollment of homeless child; definition.
Sec. 163a.
(1)A district shall allow a homeless child who is residing in the district to enroll in the district in accordance with state law and with subtitle B of title VII of the Stewart B. McKinney homeless assistance act, Public Law 100-77, 42 U.S.C. 11431 to 11435.
(2)As used in this section, "homeless child" means a school-age child who is homeless, as defined in section 103 of title I of Public Law 100-77, 42 U.S.C. 11302, or who is the child of a homeless individual, as defined in 42 U.S.C. 11302.
