388.1618d Educator compensation increases.
Sec. 18d.
It is the intent of the legislature that, in any fiscal year that the target foundation allowance in section 20 is increased, a district use a portion of the increase to make permanent increases to the compensation of educators and staff within the district, with priority given to increasing starting salaries.
