338.1077 Departmental agents; employment, powers, rules and regulations.
Sec. 27.
The department may employ such agents as are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act and to enforce compliance therewith. The department and each agent employed by him, in respect to violations of any of the provisions of this act, has all the powers of a peace officer. All rules and regulations of the department shall be made in accordance with the provisions of Act No. 88 of the Public Acts of 1943, as amended, being sections 24.71 to 24.80 of the Compiled Laws of 1948, and subject to Act No. 197 of the Public Acts of 1952, as amended, being sections 24.101 to 24.110 of the Compiled Laws of 1948.
