324.11569 Materials utilization facilities; site map and operations plan; final closure plan; notification requirements.
Sec. 11569.
(1)With a registration or an application for approval under a general permit required under section 11568, the owner or operator of a materials utilization facility shall submit a site map and operations plan for the materials utilization facility. With an application for approval under a general permit, the owner or operator shall submit a final closure plan. Pending registration or authorization under a general permit of a materials utilization facility in operation on the effective date of the amendatory act that added this section, the department shall review the operating requirements for the facility. If the department determines upon review that the operating requirements do not comply with part 115, the department shall issue a schedule of remedial measures that will lead to compliance within a reasonable period of time not to exceed 1 year from the determination of noncompliance.
(2)If an increase in the volume or change in the type of material managed by a materials utilization facility triggers a requirement for notification, registration, or approval under a general permit, the owner or operator of the facility shall submit the notification, complete application for registration, or complete application for approval under a general permit within 90 days.
