290.424a Exemption of certain information from freedom of information act.
Sec. 4a.
(1)Information relating to any assessments paid or quantities of potatoes shipped by an individual processor, grower, or shipper which has been disclosed pursuant to this act is exempt from the freedom of information act, Act No. 442 of the Public Acts of 1976, being sections 15.231 to 15.246 of the Michigan Compiled Laws. This exemption does not include information regarding any penalties levied under this act.
(2)The director may obtain information necessary to confirm compliance with this act and may disclose statistical information as long as information of the type described in subsection
(1)is not disclosed.
